Sakeena

“Tranquility, devout. God-inspired peace of mind.”

It is obvious that at times, life will be difficult. And at times, our faith will be tested. At times we feel confused, abandoned, and lost. But we can always find some sakeena. Sometimes it’s my kids, sometimes my mom, sometimes my dad, sometimes my siblings, and a lot of the time it’s my husband.

“And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your hearts. Verily in that are signs for those who reflect.” (Qur’an 30:21)
